General Motors
At the end of my 10-week internship at General Motors, I wrote a total of 16 articles for Socrates, the internal employee website. I wrote feature articles on employee podcasts, volunteers at GM, company news, and coverage of intern events.
I launched an “Intern Takeover” on the home page of the Socrates employee website. Featured on the home page were two intern employee features and two coverages of intern events.
3 out of the 4 stories published for the “intern takeover” were among the top 5 stories of the week.
Nicole Niemiec was a former Michigan State Sparty mascot. We did a fun feature of Nicole talking about her past experiences as Sparty and now in her role in the rotational district manger program.

To encourage participation in the quarterly Employee Giving Campaign, I worked with the Corporate Giving Team to interview and feature GM employees who devote time and passion into their volunteering. This heartfelt story is one of three employee features.
